Something beautiful is taking root at the Meux Home Museum. Literally.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of Tree Fresno and the Downtown Fresno Ambassadors, new trees have been planted across the museum grounds, bringing fresh life and beauty to this historic Victorian gem.
These dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves and spent the day helping us brighten the landscape, all while creating a greener, more welcoming space for our community and its future visitors.
Meet the Green Team
Tree Fresno: Cultivating Cleaner Communities
Since 1985, this nonprofit has planted more than 53,000 trees across the Central Valley, all in the name of cleaner air, healthier communities, and more beautiful neighborhoods.
Their team brought their deep expertise and passion for green spaces to the Meux Home Museum, helping select and plant just the right trees for our space. The result is a future filled with shade, blossoms, and birdsong.
Downtown Fresno Ambassadors: Heart of the City
Best known for the work they do to keep our city’s core clean, safe, and vibrant, these folks are often the unseen force behind the charm of downtown.
This time, they showed up with shovels, smiles, and a shared love for the Meux Home. Their time, energy, and heart made a lasting impression.
Victorian Roots, Modern Growth
In the Victorian era, gardens weren’t just decorative. They were places of rest, reflection, and social connection.
That spirit is alive and well today. These trees help us preserve that tradition while making the property more sustainable and inviting for the next generation.
