As the holiday season approaches, the Meux Home Museum is preparing once again to welcome visitors into a world of timeless Christmas charm. This year, we are inviting our community to play a direct role in helping us create a festive transformation worthy of this Gilded Age treasure in the heart of downtown Fresno.
For generations, the Meux Home has stood as a living piece of our city’s past. Each garland hung and ornament placed is not just a decoration. It is a bridge between history and the present. With your help, we can fill the house with warmth, light, and holiday wonder, just as the Meux family might have done in the late 1800s.
If you are reorganizing your seasonal storage, trimming down your collection, or simply wish to be part of something joyful and meaningful, we would love to accept your festive items and put them to good use.
We are currently accepting donations of the following items:
• Christmas Trees and Garlands
• Holiday Decorations (new or gently used, in working condition and not broken)
• Christmas Lights (working)
Drop-off Location and Hours
Donations can be brought directly to the Meux Home Museum at:
1007 R Street, Fresno, CA 93721
We are open for drop-offs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If those times do not work for you, we are happy to coordinate an alternate drop-off time through our contact page at meuxhomemuseum.org/contact.
