SUMMARY:January Closure and Seasonal Preparation
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Meux Home Museum pauses its public hours for a short but meaningful stretch. Throughout the month of January 2026\, the museum will be closed as our volunteers care for the house itself. This time allows for deep cleaning\, thoughtful exhibit resets\, and behind the scenes work that protects the home and the stories held within its walls. \nThis quiet season is part of how we honor the past while preparing for the year ahead. When we reopen\, the house will be refreshed\, welcoming\, and ready to receive guests once again. \nThe Meux Home Museum will reopen the first weekend of February 2026\, and we look forward to opening our doors to you then. \nIf you have questions\, would like to plan a future visit\, or are interested in tours\, events\, or volunteering\, we would love to hear from you. \nHow to contact us\n• Email us through the Contact page on our website• Use the Contact Us form for tour inquiries\, rentals\, or general questions• Messages sent during January will still be received\, and we will respond as soon as possible \nWe also invite you to stay connected during our closure by following us on Facebook\, where we share updates\, behind the scenes moments\, and announcements about upcoming events and reopening details. \nThank you for supporting this historic home and the volunteers who steward it with care.
